Posters tell the story of Sunnyvale firefighters

Once again the city's children whipped out their artist tools and created vivid illustrations for the annual Sunnyvale Fire Safety Poster Contest. All Sunnyvale schools were invited to participate, and a surprising 18 of them submitted entries. Selected from hundreds of drawings were first, second and third place winners each for kindergarten through fifth grades. This 26th annual contest was put on by the Sunnyvale Department of Public Safety in partnership with the Sunnyvale Chamber of Commerce and Kiwanis Club of Silicon Valley. Here we showcase some of those winners.
