Credit card fraud—June 20, 7:10 p.m., 800 block of E. El Camino Real. A man used a stolen credit card to purchase automobile supplies. When questioned by officers, he gave a false name and social security number as well. The man later admitted that the card was stolen. In a search after he was arrested, three grams of methamphetamines were found on his person. He had charged a total of $717.38 to the card.
Possession of a controlled substance, stimulant—June 19, 5 a.m., 600 block of Grand Fir Avenue. An officer on routine patrol observed a suspicious vehicle behind a building complex. The three occupants showed the officer their California ID cards and consented to a search. The officer found a glass pipe used for smoking narcotics. The pipe was filled with white, rock-like chunks that the officer suspected to be methamphetamines. All three men admitted to having smoked methamphetamines from the pipe earlier in the evening, and all three showed signs of narcotics use.
Burglary—June 14, 12:00 p.m., 1300 block of Bordeaux Drive. Sometime Monday afternoon, an unknown person used a pry tool and his own hands to open the front passenger door of another person's locked vehicle. The unknown person stole a nylon briefcase with paperwork and the person's checkbook inside.
