The following incidents were compiled from the log at the Sunnyvale Department of Public Safety.
Causing a disturbance—Dec. 20, 6:23 p.m., 1100 block of W. El Camino Real. A business employee chased a man who had been causing a disturbance out of a showroom. The man being chased out was on crutches.

Domestic violence—Dec. 20, 4:32 p.m., 900 block of Hamlin Court. A man called 911, but did not know his own address. He said he and his wife were in an argument. No weapons were used, but his wife scratched him. No medical car was needed.

Threats—Dec. 20, 2:59 p.m., 400 block of Acalanes Drive. Unknown people came to a resident's door and threatened to kill his sister-in-law. Phone threats had also been made.

Theft—Dec. 20, 9:41 a.m., 700 block of Lakewood Drive. A woman told police she thinks her father stole the license plates off her car. She also thinks he took her driver's license.

Unlawful entry—Dec. 20, 8:20 a.m., 100 block of Helen Avenue. Unknown people broke into a residence and set up camp there. They were acting like they were under the influence of drugs or alcohol, and they appeared agitated.

Causing a disturbance—Dec. 20, 6:07 a.m., Mathilda Avenue. A woman was seen on the train tracks and in a nearby intersection. Witnesses said she looked upset, and was holding a blanket or jacket in her arms.
