The following incidents were compiled from the log at the Sunnyvale Department of Public Safety.
Drunk in public—Jan. 11, 7:57 a.m., 700 block of N. Fair Oaks Avenue. A man in his 30s with a blue baseball cap and a black sleeved gray jersey was exposing himself to people on the street.

Found property—Jan. 10, 2:19 p.m., 1700 block of Laurentian Way. A BMX bike was stuck up in a tree outside a residence. The residents didn't know who the bike belonged to.

Grand theft—Jan. 10, 8:35 a.m., 700 block of Lakeway Drive. Someone took a pair of $1,500 earrings from a woman's room.

Domestic violence—Jan. 9, 3:22 p.m., 900 block of Tamarack Lane. A woman told police that her husband gave her a black eye on Sunday, and that he had also punched a hole in a wall at their home. She reported this at the police station while he was at home with their children.

Lost property—Jan. 8, 4:43 p.m., 200 block of Buena Vista Avenue. A man ordered $168 in used books from a used bookseller through Amazon.com. FedEx said it delivered the package on Dec. 28 at 4:37 p.m., but the man never received the books.

Residential burglary—Jan. 8, 1:01 p.m., 900 block of Azure Street. A resident reported that he believed someone had entered his house the night before through an unlocked door. He could find nothing missing, but he did find an attaché case by his rear gate.
