The following incidents were compiled from the log at the Sunnyvale Department of Public Safety.
Found property—Feb. 11, 1:32 p.m., 800 block of Henderson Avenue. Residents found items laying around a spot behind a baseball field that they say a transient had set up camp in.

Fraud—Feb. 11, 11:25 a.m., 200 block of Buena Vista Avenue. A woman received a bank statement saying she had charged $152. She said she did not make the charges and is worried that someone used her name and identification to open up an account.

Under the influence of a controlled substance in public—Feb. 11, 1:47 a.m., 900 block of E. Duane Avenue. Someone broke into a man's car through the window and was sleeping inside the vehicle. The person looked to be 24 or 25 years old, heavy set, wearing a gray shirt and blue jeans. The person may have been drinking.

Under the influence of a controlled substance in public—Feb. 10, 5:44 p.m., Acacia Avenue. A man who looked to be in his 60s, with a graying bushy beard and wearing a black jacket was seen stumbling northbound on the east side of the street. A resident called the Department of Public Safety out of concern because the man was stumbling into the street.

Theft—Feb. 10, 1:46 p.m., 400 block of Palo Verde Drive. A Thule carrier that attached to a rack to secure luggage may have been stolen from a man's home. He last saw it almost a week ago on the side of his house.

Theft—Feb. 11, 9:55 p.m., 100 block of E. El Camino Real. Three men ran out of a store with a cart full of items and jumped into a small red car.
