The following incidents were compiled from the log at the Sunnyvale Department of Public Safety.
Assault—March 26, 2:37 a.m., 1000 block of Duane Avenue. A man entered a woman's car while she was filling up at a gas station. He pointed a gun at her and told her to "shut up."

Fraud—March 24, 5:36 p.m., 400 block of Mathilda Avenue. A women in her 30s tried to use an ID with a birth date of 1922.

Theft—March 24, 6:47 p.m., 900 block of W. El Camino Real. Unknown people stole a woman's purse and then attempted to steal $2,300 from her bank account.

Grand theft—March 23, 3:07 p.m., 1600 block of Hollenbeck Avenue. Someone's personal laptop was missing and then mysteriously returned. The owner wants it to be checked for fingerprints.

Fraud—March 22, 3:55 p.m., 200 block of Lakemuir Drive. A man said his Social Security number had been used fraudulently by someone attempting to get a job in Modesto.

Missing person—March 22, 10:32 a.m., 200 block of Danforth Terraces. A man reported that his son and daughter-in-law have been out of contact since March 12. They were vacationing in Mexico in an RV.

Grand theft—March 21, 4:38 p.m., 800 block of E. El Camino Real. A man called in and said another man had pushed him and taken his wallet.

Residential burglary—March 20, 10:25 p.m., 900 block of Henderson Avenue. Items were missing from a house, and there was blood on the window, suggesting that someone had tried to get in.
