The following incidents were compiled from the log at the Sunnyvale Department of Public Safety.
Theft--April 16, 4:03 p.m., 900 block of E. El Camino Real. A man went on vacation more than a month ago. He returned recently to find that the license plates on his 2003 Infiniti had been stolen.

Found property--April 16, 1:14 p.m., E. El Camino Real. Someone found a duffel bag and a shopping bag from Victoria's Secret that had been left behind at a bus stop.

Under the influence--6:01 a.m., 200 block of Velvetlake Drive. A man's brother was drunk and threatening to kill their mother's boyfriend.

Property damage--April 15, 10:32 p.m., 400 block of Cumulus Avenue. A man arrived home and found that his lawn had been damaged. Someone had planted a large plant in the middle of the damaged lawn. There are no leads or suspects.

Commercial burglary--April 15, 8:14 a.m., 900 block of Helen Avenue. Someone tried to break into a dryer in a laundry room to get money.

Battery--April 14, 6:16 p.m., 1200 block of Brookfield Avenue. A female who sounded intoxicated called the Department of Public Safety saying she wanted someone out of her house.

Vehicle theft--April 13, 3:25 p.m., 800 block of W. California Avenue. A man reported that his vehicle had been stolen. He had parked it in his carport the day before, and he noticed it missing the next day. All his car keys were accounted for and no one had permission to use the vehicle.
