Public Safety
The following incidents were compiled from the log at the Sunnyvale Department of Public Safety.
Commercial burglary--April 23, 12:39 p.m., 200 block of W. Washington Avenue. A woman with short blonde hair and a nose ring was seen using a butterfly knife to cut the sensor tags off of items.

Theft--April 23, 11:01 a.m., 100 block of E. Remington Drive. Sometime during the night an unknown person(s) broke into a resident's tool shed and stole some tools.

Fight--April 22, 4:53 p.m., 1100 block of Sunnyvale-Saratoga Road. Two men got into a fight. One of them, a 32-year-old, was left bleeding but breathing and conscious.

Gang vandalism--April 22, 7:48 a.m., 1600 block of S. Bernardo Avenue. A container in the parking lot of a gas station was tagged with gang-related graffiti.

Suspicious circumstances--April 21, 7:42 p.m., 900 block of Marion Way. A resident received a Capital One credit card application process notice. He was alarmed because his address did not match the address of whoever had filled out the application. He placed a fraud alert on all his accounts.

Found property--April 21, 4 p.m., 1300 block of Socorro Avenue. A woman found a box of unused ammunition and wanted it destroyed.

Automobile burglary--April 21, 2:27 p.m., 600 block of S. Fair Oaks Avenue. A 1989 Porsche soft-top convertible's cover was cut open and a satellite radio, four jackets and two hiking poles were stolen from inside.
