Public Safety
The following incidents were compiled from the log at the Sunnyvale Department of Public Safety.
Burglary--April 30, 8:55 p.m., 1500 block of Albatross Drive. An unknown person broke into the laundry room of an apartment complex and took money from the coin-operated machine.

Residential burglary--April 30, 7:51 p.m., 1600 block of S. Wolfe Road. Sometime in the afternoon, during a resident's garage sale, an unknown person entered the resident's home and stole a purse from one of the bedrooms.

Domestic disturbance--April 29, 10:05 p.m., 1000 block of Tasman Drive. A woman said her brother was misbehaving by asking for money. Loud screaming could be heard in the background.

Threats--April 29, 6:09 p.m., 100 block of Tulip Drive. A woman's daughter's ex-boyfriend, a man in his late 30s or 40s, has been calling demanding money and threatening to report that the woman is harboring illegal aliens, which she says she is not.

Theft--April 29, 9:07 p.m., 100 block of Tasman Drive. A lawnmower was stolen from an unlocked storage shed.

Automobile burglary--April 29, 2:43 p.m., 900 block of E. Arques Avenue. A man took his car to M2 for a repair. While his car was there, M2 went bankrupt and his car was locked inside. When he went to retrieve it to take it to a different shop, he noticed the rear license plate was missing.
