The following incidents were compiled from the log at the Sunnyvale Department of Public Safety.

Causing a disturbance--June 9, 12:04 p.m., 300 block of E. Weddell Drive. Someone heard a disturbance and saw a man throwing rocks. The person heard glass break but wasn't sure if the glass came from a car or a building.

Cruelty to animals--June 9, 10:49 a.m., 300 block of Stowell Avenue. Someone's cat was shot by a neighbor with a BB gun. A veterinarian confirmed that the injuries came from a BB gun.

Attempted theft--June 8, 8:47 p.m., 600 block of S. Fair Oaks Avenue. Two men tried to take two packages from a building lobby. When confronted, they fled the scene. Both men were in their late 20s.

Theft--June 7, 10:42 p.m., 600 block of Iris Avenue. Someone stole the license plates off of a woman's car.

Causing a disturbance--June 6, 11:30 p.m., 100 block of S. Murphy Avenue. Seven or eight people got in a physical argument. Witnesses were afraid the conflict would escalate.

Theft--June 6, 10:04 p.m., 100 block of S. Murphy Avenue. An unknown man took a beer keg from a downtown beer booth and walked into a nearby restaurant with it.

Theft--June 6, 2:58 p.m., 600 block of San Juan Drive. An unknown person took someone else's clothes and rugs from a community Laundromat in an apartment complex. The owner could see her clothes and belongings hanging out in her neighbor's yard.
