The following incidents were compiled from the log at the Sunnyvale Department of Public Safety.
Forgery--July 30, 1:51 p.m., 1200 block of Sandia Avenue. Three fraudulent checks were written from a woman's account without her permission.
Vehicle theft--July 28, 9:11 p.m., 100 block of E. El Camino Real. A man reported that his vehicle had been stolen from a parking lot at 5:30 p.m.
Vehicle theft--July 28, 8:31 p.m., 500 block of N. Mathilda Avenue. After leaving her car parked for a month, a woman noticed that her rear license plate was missing.
Domestic disturbance--July 28, 6:24 p.m., 1300 block of Torrance Avenue. A woman and her ex-boyfriend got in an argument. He left the house afterward but stole her keys and broke her cell phone.
Fraud--July 28, 7:11 p.m., 200 block of Red Oak West Drive. An elderly woman who lost her credit cards was notified by her credit card company that her card had been used all day to purchase electronic items.
Automobile burglary--July 28, 4:18 p.m., 600 block of E. El Camino Real. Sometime during the night, a stereo was stolen from a vehicle that had been left unlocked in a parking lot.
Threatening calls--July 28, 3:12 p.m., 1100 block of Miramar Way. Someone was receiving harassing phone calls and death threats from a man named Orlando and his friends.
