The following incidents were compiled from the log at the Sunnyvale Department of Public Safety.

Violating a court order--Aug. 6, 10:47 p.m., 800 block of Alturas Avenue. A woman's estranged husband was making threatening calls to her, in violation of a restraining order against him.

Fraud--Aug. 6, 3:11 p.m., 700 block of E. El Camino Real. A man, possibly under the influence of a controlled substance, was trying to use a "lost or stolen" credit card.

Property damage--Aug. 6, 2:48 a.m., 1100 block of Morse Avenue. A man found his tires slashed. He suspects it was his live-in girlfriend.

Fraud--Aug. 5, 9:43 p.m., 200 block of All America Way. An unknown person used a man's credit card information to make credit card purchases in Louisiana.

Found property--Aug. 5, 3:11 p.m., 300 block of E. Carl Road. A man found a 9mm handgun in the garbage.

Found property--Aug. 5, 11:11 a.m., 900 block of Crestwood Court. Someone found a folding knife in the gutter.

Bicycle theft--Aug. 5, 2:31 a.m., 700 block of E. El Camino Real. A man left his black, one-speed "comfort bike" parked outside a supermarket for 20 minutes without locking it. When he returned, it was gone.

Causing a disturbance--Aug. 4, 3:26 p.m., 600 block of Harrow Way. An elderly woman in a flowered bathing suit and jeans was found in a bathroom yelling and cursing at herself.
