The following incidents were compiled from the log at the Sunnyvale Department of Public Safety.

Suspicious circumstances--Aug. 20, 1:48 p.m., 1100 block of Royal Ann Drive. After leaving her car parked overnight, a woman noticed that it looked as if the car had been involved in an accident.

Commercial burglary--Aug. 20, 8:17 a.m., 1200 block of S. Wolfe Road. The window of a store was found shattered. No one was seen in front of or inside the store, but a black bag was found on the ground that may have been used to break the glass.

Suspicious circumstances--Aug. 19, 7:38 p.m., 800 block of Henderson Avenue. Four men were seen standing near a black Ford Mustang in a parking lot. One of them said, "You gotta watch it man, that's assault with a deadly weapon."

Loitering--Aug. 19, 9:37 p.m., 1400 block of Newfoundland Drive. Five men were seen loitering in an area that has been hit with a number of robberies recently. Three of the men were wearing shorts.

Theft--Aug. 19, 8:29 p.m., 1200 block of Henderson Avenue. Several juveniles were seen trying to steal a bike. When confronted, one of them dropped the bike and fled into a nearby apartment complex.

Causing a disturbance--Aug. 19, 8:10 p.m., 100 block of Duane Avenue. A transient man in front of a business was harassing customers but had not been drinking or using drugs.
