The following incidents were compiled from the log at the Sunnyvale Department of Public Safety.

Burglary--Sept. 10, 7:37 p.m., 100 block of Acalanes Drive. The machines in a laundry room were broken into, and the money inside was taken.

Vandalism--Sept. 10, 6:57 p.m., 700 block of E. Duane Avenue. A woman's ex-boyfriend broke a window at her home, and he was heard yelling at her.

Drunk in public--Sept. 9, 6:45 p.m., 700 block of The Dalles Avenue. A man with a ponytail tied with a rubber band, goatee, gray shirt and blue jeans was loitering in a park near the swings, benches and a small stream.

Vandalism--Sept. 9, 5:02 p.m., 700 block of The Dalles Avenue. Several young people were seen smashing benches in a public park.

Exhibition of speed--Sept. 9, 1:23 a.m., 600 block of Gail Avenue. A resident heard squealing tires, the sound of a crash and then the sound of a car pulling away.

Credit card fraud--Sept. 8, 10:44 a.m., 800 block of Mango Avenue. An unknown person used a woman's credit card to purchase $315 worth of goods.

Theft--Sept. 7, 12:22 p.m., 1300 block of Orleans Drive. A woman's personal Visa card was stolen from her office sometime during the past week.

Theft--Sept. 7, 11:19 a.m., 100 block of S. Murphy Avenue. A woman's purse with her credit cards, $20 in cash, car keys and a cell phone was stolen on Sept. 4 after being left on a chair.
