The following incidents were compiled from the log at the Sunnyvale Department of Public Safety.
Suspicious activity--Sept. 24, 8:02 p.m., 200 block of W. Iowa Avenue. A woman in her 20s wearing boots, jeans and a black top went into a dressing room of a store and emerged wearing a different set of clothes. She left and went into a second floor bathroom.
Dog bite--Sept. 23, 3:10 p.m., 300 block of E. Evelyn Avenue. A man was bitten by a dog in a parking lot. He knew the dog and its owner, who was going to return home soon after. The dog's owner didn't know that the man who'd been bitten by the dog had called the Department of Public Safety.
Violation of a court order--Sept. 23, 7:43 p.m., 800 block of S. Knickerbocker Drive. A man has been calling a woman who has a restraining order against him. He usually calls from a blocked number, but this time he called from an unblocked number, and the woman has a recording of his voice.
Theft--Sept. 23, 2:22 p.m., 500 block of E. Rembrandt Drive. A guitar and its case were taken from an unlocked car parking in the community center parking lot sometime Wednesday night.
Missing person--Sept. 23, 10:53 a.m., 600 block of E. Weddell Drive. A resident has not been seen for about a month. Mail is piling up and there is a note from a week ago stuck to his door.
Possible drug use--Sept. 22, 8:26 p.m., 1700 block of Novanda Drive. A woman called the police to say that her son, a runaway, was at her house, possibly using drugs.
