The following incidents were compiled from the log at the Sunnyvale Department of Public Safety.
Vandalism--Oct. 1, 10:22 p.m., 700 block of E. El Camino Real. Someone heard a commotion and people yelling outside. They went outside and saw a car with a broken window and a group of juveniles running away.
Battery--Sept. 30, 4:45 p.m., 900 block of E. El Camino Real. A woman's ex-fiancé grabbed her shirt by the collar and ripped it. He also shook her a number of times and threw her into a chair.
Theft--Sept. 29, 4:22 p.m., 600 block of S. Fair Oaks Avenue. A backpack with an ID card, textbooks and a cell phone was stolen from the waiting room of a clinic.
Burglary--Sept. 29, 8:56 p.m., 100 block of N. Wolfe Road. A man kicked in the front door of a closed business. He was caught on a security camera and his footprint was left on the door.
Theft--Sept. 28, 4:22 p.m., 1100 block of N . Mathilda Avenue. Someone stole a woman's credit card and other possessions from her place of work. A security guard may have a description of the person who did it.
Theft--Sept. 27, 1-:53 p.m., 700 block of E. El Camino Real. A purse was stolen from an office and the credit cards inside were used three times within five hours, twice at a Santa Clara liquor store and once at a Cupertino gas station.
Battery--Sept. 27, 5:43 p.m., 500 block of Del Ray Avenue. A male employee struck a female employee on the side of her head with his fist and threw a glass of water at her.
