Public Safety
The following incidents were compiled from the log at the Sunnyvale Department of Public Safety.

Battery--Oct. 15, 2:44 a.m., 700 block of San Coronado Terraces. A man suffered tooth and facial injuries from an unknown person while at a friend's house.

Stolen vehicle--Oct. 15, 2:25 a.m., 900 block of Fairwood Avenue. A woman heard a crashing sound and ran outside to investigate. She got to the front of her house in time to see someone driving her cousin's car away.

Theft--Oct. 15, 12:04 a.m., 700 block of S. Wolfe Road. An unknown person stole the rear license plate from a vehicle.

Residential burglary--Oct. 14, 9:11 p.m., 700 block of Blue Sage Drive. A woman came home, opened her garage door and found that several tool drawers and other storage items had been opened and possibly looked through.

Drunk in public--Oct. 14, 6:38 p.m., 700 block of S. Wolfe Road. A very drunk, 45-year-old man was standing outside a store's entrance, throwing baskets into cars, harassing people and stumbling around.

Residential burglary--Oct. 14, 3:20 p.m., 1200 block of W. Knickerbocker Drive. A man discovered that his house had been broken into through a back window.

Suspicious circumstances--Oct. 13 7:37 p.m., 100 block of S. Sunnyvale Avenue. A man visiting a hotel caught someone trying to steal the bike seat off of his bike, which was parked at the hotel. The man fled the scene on a bike.
