Public Safety
The following incidents were compiled from the log at the Sunnyvale Department of Public Safety.

Theft--Oct. 22, 9:50 p.m., 1300 block of S. Wolfe Road. An unknown person(s) stole the rims off another person's vehicle sometime during the evening. The rims were worth less than $400.

Threats--Oct. 22, 5:19 p.m., 100 block of W. Weddell Drive. A man was threatened by a former friend. He last saw the person over two hours ago.

Theft--Oct. 21, 10:06 p.m., 1200 block of Sunnyvale-Saratoga Road. A man's T-Mobile "Sidekick" was stolen from his backpack.

Battery--Oct. 21, 1:14 p.m., 700 block of N. Mathilda Avenue. A man was assaulted by a co-worker during an argument earlier in the day. Everything had calmed down by the time public safety was called.

Automobile burglary--Oct. 21, 1:20 p.m., 1100 block of Munich Terraces. A man's vehicle was broken into and his rear passenger window was smashed open. A bag containing a volleyball net, sunglasses and other items was stolen.

Theft--Oct. 20, 6:04 p.m., 800 block of E. Fremont Avenue. A woman's purse was taken from her office sometime during the day. Her door was left open.

Battery--Oct. 20, 1:30 p.m., 1400 block of Floyd Avenue. A man grabbed his girlfriend by the neck during an argument.

Battery--Oct. 15, 2:44 a.m., 700 block of San Coronado Terraces. A man suffered tooth and facial injuries from an unknown person while at a friend's house.
