The following incidents were compiled from the log at the Sunnyvale Department of Public Safety.

Theft--Nov. 12, 7:34 p.m., 100 block of Town and Country Village. A storeowner reported that someone had stolen a Motorola v262 phone from the store a week earlier.

Theft--Nov. 12, 6:14 p.m., 1000 block of E. Arques Avenue. A heavyset man--known to be a fighter--in blue and gray sweat suit was seen stealing at least 10 CDs from a store rack.

Theft--Nov. 12, 5:07 p.m., 100 block of Lawrence Station. Around 3 p.m., someone took a woman's wallet out of her purse while she was shopping.

Possible drug use--Nov. 12, 8:02 p.m., 800 block of S. Wolfe Road. A bag of white powder was found near a magnolia tree outside a S. Wolfe Road home.

Theft--Nov. 12, 11:51 a.m., Aster Drive. Someone stole a pink faux leather wallet with fur trim from a woman while she was looking at items at a garage sale. Her California driver's license, paycheck, credit cards and $160 in cash were in the wallet.

Seven years of bad luck--Nov. 12, 2:52 a.m., 800 block of W. Ahwanee Drive. A man broke a mirror in a public bathroom and fled in a black Gran Prix.

Automobile burglary--Nov. 12, 2:48 a.m., 800 block of Linden Avenue. Security personnel stopped a man who was beating on a parked car. He ran off when confronted.

Found property--Nov. 11, 10:55 a.m., 100 block of S. Sunnyvale Avenue. Someone saw a "skinny blonde," handing another person a crystal methamphetamine pipe.
