The following incidents were compiled from the log at the Sunnyvale Department of Public Safety.
Found property--Nov. 26, 8:22 p.m., 500 block of E. Ahwanee Drive. A man told police he heard a vehicle enter his apartment complex between 2 and 3 a.m., and it sounded like it was dragging something on the ground. In the morning, he found pieces of a headlight and paint in the parking lot.
Trespassing--Nov. 26, 4:44 a.m., 200 block of Corral Avenue. A man called the police after hearing movement outside his house. He believed that someone was out there.
Damage to city property--Nov. 25, 10:28 p.m., 100 block of Elm Court. Someone damaged a fire hydrant and a geyser of water was shooting 30 feet into the air.
Commercial burglary--Nov. 25, 8:28 a.m., 100 block of W. Caribbean Drive. A man found his office window smashed out but didn't know if anything had been stolen.
Missing person--Nov. 25, 3:46 p.m., 200 block of Lakeside Drive. A man and his girlfriend got in a verbal argument, and she left the scene on foot. She had not been seen since, but the man didn't believe there were any conditions that would place her at risk.
Threats--Nov. 24, 8:28 p.m., 100 block of All America Way. A woman came to the Department of Public Safety to report that she had been receiving threatening phone calls from her crack-abusing, estranged husband.
Causing a disturbance--Nov. 26, 8:25 p.m., 1100 block of Breezewood Court. Two scruffy-looking drunk men with long hair were banging on front doors.
