Sex assault suspect sought after girl reports incident
By Jason Goldman-Hall
The Sunnyvale Department of Public Safety is asking for the public's help in finding a sexual assault suspect.

Around 4 p.m. on Nov. 7, a 14-year-old girl was "inappropriately touched" by a passing man as she walked along Bernardo Avenue near Knickerbocker Drive, according to public safety.

According to a statement from the city, investigators found that the same person did something similar to another girl a year ago, but the incident was not reported at the time.

The person in question is described as an Asian male, between 20 and 35 years of age. He is between 5 feet and 5 feet 7 inches tall and 120 to 130 pounds. He was wearing a light blue baseball cap, light blue T-shirt, khaki pants and white athletic shoes, possibly New Balance. He walks with a wide gait, his feet pointed inward and his hands up by his sides.

Anyone with information should call Sunnyvale detective Scott Simpson at 408.730.7134.
