The following incidents were compiled from the log at the Sunnyvale Department of Public Safety.

Identity theft--Dec. 8, 5:51 p.m., 1200 block of Wolfe Road. A woman lost her ID last month and someone used it to cash fraudulent checks. She has a copy of the fraudulent check as well as a thumbprint and photo of the person who cashed it.

Suspicious circumstances--Dec. 8, 5:11 p.m., 200 block of Jackson Avenue. A man claimed that someone may have used his debit card to rent a $337.08 hotel room in San Pedro.

Violation of a court order--Dec. 8, 3:32 p.m., 600 block of W. El Camino Real. A woman's soon-to-be-ex-husband called her, in violation of a court order, 25 times this morning while she was in Superior Court.

Theft--Dec. 8, 11:42 a.m., 100 block of E. Homestead Road. Someone stole the Post Office's master lock key from an apartment complex. If that key is duplicated, all similar mailboxes could be accessible.

Automobile burglary--Dec. 8, 9:30 a.m., 200 block of E. Eaglewood Avenue. A Chevy Silverado's window was smashed and the stereo was stolen.

Vehicle collision--Dec. 7, 5:43 p.m., E. El Camino Real. A driver claimed he was rear-ended by another driver, but the other man denies it. Both were driving white cars and were arguing in the parking lot of a gas station.
