The following incidents were compiled from the log at the Sunnyvale Department of Public Safety.

Vandalism--Jan. 14, 9:48 a.m., 100 block of Acalanes Drive. Someone poured acid on a woman's car and poured an unknown substance into her gas tank. She thinks that it was her ex-husband; she already has a restraining order against him.

Found property--Jan. 14, 9:39 p.m., E. Ahwanee and N. Fair Oaks Avenues. A man found his stolen red Honda parked near the entrance to an apartment complex.

Missing person--Jan. 14, 9:09 a.m., 100 block of Carroll Street. A tenant with a known medical problem has not been seen or heard from in three days. Repeated calls to her house have not gotten a response.

Theft--Jan. 13, 6:11 p.m., 1300 block of S. Mary Avenue. The rear license plate was stolen from a man's business van between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.

Theft--Jan. 13, 5:36 p.m., 1000 block of Lupine Drive. Someone entered a woman's unlocked car and stole a gym bag and her backpack.

Causing a disturbance--Jan. 13, 4:35 p.m., N. Mary Avenue. Two people were seen arguing in the front seat of a green compact car. The passenger, dressed in a bikini top and jeans, got out and began walking up Mary Avenue.

Lost property--Jan. 13, 1:33 p.m., 500 block of E. El Camino Real. A woman left her purse in a restaurant and when she returned three days later, she could not find it.
