Attempted robbery--Jan. 21, 9:19 p.m., 400 block of N. Mathilda Avenue. An intoxicated man tried to take alcohol from a store.

Automobile burglary--Jan. 21, 5:59 p.m., 1000 block of Bluebonnet Drive. An iPod was stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked in front of a house.

Missing person--Jan. 21, 2:58 a.m., 150 block of S. Murphy Avenue. A woman walked away from a verbal dispute with her boyfriend and had not been seen or heard from for an hour.

Automobile burglary--Jan. 20, 7:58 p.m., 100 block of Willow Avenue. Someone broke a car's window and stole a backpack from inside that contained an iPod and sunglasses.

Missing person--Jan. 20, 2:39 p.m., 900 block of Henderson Avenue. A resident's 81-year-old father walked off at 9 a.m. and had not been seen or heard from.

Abandoned vehicle--Jan. 20, 10:28 a.m., 500 block of N. Mathilda Avenue. A blue Chrysler LeBaron was left running behind a building for an hour. No one was around the car, and no one in the building recognized it.

Possession of a controlled substance--Jan. 20, 3:59 a.m., 100 block of W. Ahwanee Avenue. A woman's boyfriend returned home with cocaine. He was smoking it in the living room while she called public safety.

Possession of a controlled substance--Jan. 19, 4:45 a.m., 900 block of Henderson Avenue. A man heard two male voices about 10 feet outside his back window.

Vehicle collision--Jan. 18, 11:32 a.m., W. Ahwanee Avenue. A white Toyota hit a parked white Nissan.
