The following incidents were compiled from the log at the Sunnyvale Department of Public Safety.
Domestic violence--Jan. 28, 10:22 p.m., 100 block of Acalanes Drive. A 48-year-old resident suffered a head injury after being hit with a door.
Grand theft--Jan. 28, 10 p.m., 1200 block of Old Mountain View-Alviso Road. A person cut through a perimeter fence on someone's property to steal several ceramic vases worth approximately $2,000.
Theft--Jan. 27, 8:34 p.m., 200 block of W. Iowa Avenue. Someone saw a man take some DVDs from a store but was afraid to say something at the time because the man had a knife on him.
Drunk in public--Jan. 27, 7:30 p.m., 700 block of S. Wolfe Road. A short man knocked over a display sign inside a store then stood outside and refused to leave.
Found property--Jan. 27, 2:52 p.m., 200 block of Java Drive. A man, who was walking during his lunch hour, found a group of California drivers' licenses wrapped in a rubber band. The licenses were sitting on top of a fire hydrant behind a building.
Property damage--Jan. 25, 1:19 p.m., E. Olive and Wilson Avenues. An "overnight delivery" truck that was driving through a neighborhood knocked down some wires.
Possible drug use--Jan. 25, 10:34 a.m., 600 block of Old San Francisco Road. A transient man near some dumpsters was acting confused and disoriented.
