Reader is concerned with
development's downside
"A thriving 'hig- density' downtown means more shoppers ... more sales tax ... infrastructure, public safety ... ." (Editor Carol Bogart's column, June 28). By that measure, the most successful cities would be Detroit, Cincinnati, Baltimore, San Francisco, Atlanta. ... do you see any downside to your theory?
Crime, maybe, or overcrowding, pollution, or overloaded services? Perhaps it's not that simple?
