Town Center Update

The Sun periodically provides updates on the $400 million Town Center redevelopment project headed by Sand Hill Property Co.

*Onsite recycling of concrete from the razed mall has been completed. Processed concrete was used as a base layer for the underground garage west of Macy's.

*The developer is in the final stages of installing a web cam just inside the McKinley Avenue gate. The camera is mounted, and will become active for public viewing once the Internet connections are completed.

*The concrete pours for the footings in the underground parking garage west of Target have been completed; concrete is continuing to be poured for the footings in the garage west of Macy's.
