about invention
saving energy

About the Cody Kraatz article "Unique idea for producing power" (Sun Aug. 29 ):

Kinetic energy of the car is produced from burning gasoline.The price of that energy is high, especially now.If you take some energy from the car,you slow down the speed,and the car needs to burn additional fuel to compensate for the lost speed. So,the price of electricity from that invention will be much higher then regular electricity, and it is not "green"--because you burn gasoline.
