Auto theft--Jan. 13, 6:57 a.m., 1100 block of Ayala Drive. Someone stole a 1991 four-door Honda Accord.

Auto burglary--Jan. 12, 7:15 p.m., 600 block of S. Fair Oaks Avenue. Someone burglarized a 1998 Honda Civic.

Rape--Jan. 12, 2:06 p.m. A rape was reported.

Theft--Jan. 12, 2:21 p.m., 600 block of Iris Avenue. Someone stole a rear license plate.

Theft--Jan. 12, 1:09 p.m., 800 block of E. Evelyn Avenue. Someone stole $300 in cash and credit cards from an employee's wallet at a dry cleaner.

Auto burglary--Jan. 12, 10:16 a.m., 100 block of E. Fremont Avenue. Someone burglarized a Honda Odyssey.

Theft--Jan. 11, 8:46 p.m., 400 block of N. Mathilda Avenue. Someone stole beer from a supermarket.

Theft--Jan. 11, 4:58 p.m., 900 block of Mango Avenue. Someone wrote five fraudulent checks from the victim's account over the holidays.

Theft--Jan. 11, 9:39 a.m., 1200 block of Tasman Drive. Someone stole a man's bike, cutting the chain that secured it and leaving another bike behind.

Theft--Jan. 10, 11:28 p.m., 1200 block of N. Mathilda Avenue. Someone stole a man's I-94 immigration documents.

Auto burglary--Jan. 10, 8:22 p.m., 1200 block of E. Arques Avenue. Someone broke into a 1991 Acura Integra parked outside a fitness center and stole a laptop, wallet and cell phone.

Commercial burglary--Jan. 10, 12:47 p.m., 1200 block of Reamwood Avenue. Someone stole a purse.

Grand theft--Jan. 10, 11:14 a.m., 500 block of Hope Terrace. Someone stole a road bike from a garage and an iPod and GPS device from a vehicle.

Commercial burglary--Jan. 10, 8:06 a.m., 900 block of E. El Camino Real. Someone climbed into a business through the roof and stole cash.

Trespassing--Jan. 9, 10:38 p.m., 800 block of Duncardine Way. A "breathless" woman reported that another woman "came after her with a knife."

Theft--Jan. 9, 2:20 p.m., 1600 block of Hollenbeck Avenue. Someone stole 14 bottles of liquor.

Theft--Jan. 8, 10:40 p.m., 600 block of Iris Avenue. Someone stole five 50-milligram Sentinol patches worth $750.

Prowling--Jan. 8, 9:44 p.m., 1000 block of Candlewood Avenue. A 37-year-old transient San Jose man was arrested on suspicion of prowling and entering a residence.

Residential burglary--Jan. 7, 9:49 p.m., 400 block of S. Fair Oaks Avenue. Someone burglarized a residence.

Embezzlement--Jan. 7, 3:53 p.m., 1400 block of Bittern Drive. Someone fraudulently used the victim's checking account to pay bills.

Theft--Jan. 7, 12:01 p.m., 1100 block of N. Mathilda Avenue. Someone stole a TV from a room in a hotel.

Vandalism--Jan. 7, 7:56 a.m., 700 block of Morse Avenue. Someone broke glass on tractors and construction equipment.

Assault with deadly weapon--Jan. 6, 4:42 p.m., 1000 block of Chico Court. A 38-year-old Sunnyvale woman was arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon.

Residential burglary--Jan. 6, 1:44 p.m., 500 block of Fern Ridge Court. Someone broke a front door down and ransacked a room.
