Town Center Update

The Sun periodically provides updates on the $400 million Town Center redevelopment project headed by Sand Hill Property Co.

Night work on utilities in Washington Avenue east of Mathilda Avenue began last week and is scheduled to end next week. This work will continue to require the complete closure of Washington east of Mathilda from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m., Monday through Thursday.

Construction of parking garages in the two westerly blocks of the development has moved to the fourth level of each garage.

Widening of the south side of Washington Avenue east of Mathilda Avenue is scheduled to begin next week. This work will require closure of one east-bound lane of Washington Avenue and one of the two southbound Mathilda Avenue left turn lanes onto Washington.
