ACS Relay for Life to hold second rally
The American Cancer Society will hold its second annual Relay for Life in Willow Glen this spring, and a Jan. 31 rally will kick off the effort at 6:30 p.m. at the Willow Glen High School cafeteria.
Persons interested in the 24-hour-long walk to raise money for cancer programs and research are invited to come, see a video, hear a presentation from a cancer survivor and sign up for the event, which will take place at Willow Glen High School April 26 and 27. Organizer Georgia Ladd hopes the event will raise more than the $92,000 it raised last year.
