Turf Club will discuss future of fairgrounds

Things have been pretty quiet in the debate over plans for the Santa Clara County Fairgrounds these days. Since plans for the giant amphitheater were nixed last fall, many folks celebrated a community victory and headed home. But there's still plenty of decision-making and planning ahead.

This Thursday, Feb. 11, at 7pm, folks can head over to the fairgrounds' Turf Club for the latest update on proposed changes from those knee-deep in planning the site's future. Presenters include A&M Consulting Group's Dan McFadden, DKS traffic planning engineer Mark Spencer and representatives from Universal Concerts. County Supervisor Blanca Alvarado will also be in attendance.

The fairgrounds are located at 344 Tully Road. For more information, call Sylvia Gallegos from Alvarado's office at 299-2040.
