Let It Rain

The timing couldn't have been better for Felicia Loredo and her fellow Booksin Elementary fourth-graders to complete their two-month project of turning the science room into a virtual rain forest on Feb. 6. Trees, plants and a live rain-forest toad completed the scene. The kids also worked to raise $30 to protect a real rain-forest acre.
