City approves public education
The San Jose City Council on Feb. 19 approved an agreement with media consulting firm Liquid Agency Inc. to begin a traffic-calming public education program.
The program's goals are to see real results slowing traffic in the city's residential areas to complement efforts by the city's traffic engineers and law enforcement. The program also seeks to involve other city and state agencies and solicit grants and sponsorships from private partners.
