Central Valley Soccer League
The Central Valley Youth Soccer League will hold tryouts for its boys under-12 select (Class 1) team on March 4 and 11, 3-5 p.m., at Schallenberger Elementary School. For more information, contact coach Cheryl Geraci by email at cagey169@aol.com or by phone at at 408.723.0384 (before 8 p.m.).
'Will to Win' Scholarships
High school scholar-athletes who have competed despite facing the challenge of asthma are eligible for scholarships through the "Will to Win" scholarship program.
Scholarship applications are available by calling the "Will to Win" hotline at 1.800.558.7305. The deadline for entries is April 30.
Baseball Camp
A baseball camp for players ages 12 and under will be held March 3-4, 10 a.m.-noon, at Lynbrook High School. The cost is $75 per player. For more information, call 408.396.1445.
Soccer Registration
South Bay Youth Soccer is currently registering players for the 2001 season in the following age groups for boys and girls: under-6, under-8, under-10, under-12 and under-14 (ages determined as of July 31, 2001).
The season runs March through June, and the fee of $65 includes uniforms, a photo package and an end of the season award.

PAL Football
The Willow Glen Rams are currently holding signups for the fall 2001 youth tackle football season beginning. Willow Glen fields four teams in PAL play. For more information, call Chris Rohr at 408.723.3307.
Volleyball Signups
The United States Youth Volleyball League is accepting registration for its spring program in Los Gatos and San Jose through March 1.
The coed league is open to players ages 8-14 and the fee of $90 per player includes instruction, games, uniform T-shirt and equipment. League play runs March 31-June 16.
Teams will meet twice a week: on Tuesdays from 5:30-6:30 p.m. and on Saturdays from 9-10 a.m. at Camden Park West, and on Wednesdays from 5:30-6:30 p.m. and on Saturdays from 9-10 a.m. at Los Gatos High School.
