Program provides funding for seniors' new wheels
Thanks to the Senior Wheels Program USA, power wheelchairs are now available to folks in need regardless of income level. The program provides free electric wheelchairs to seniors (65-years-old and up) and the permanently disabled who meet guidelines of the service. Those eligible include those who cannot walk or operate a manual wheelchair, and who meet the additional guidelines. For information on program guidelines and eligibility, call Lean Johnson at 1-800-246-6010.
