The Willow Glen ResidentEducation office opens minilibrary as reference for parents, teachersA new minilibrary recently opened in the Santa Clara County Office of Education as a reference for parents and teachers. The collection includes books and videos that deal with children's needs. Topics include parenting, learning disabilities, attention-deficit disorder and special education. The shelf of resources hails from the Parents' Educational Resource Center in Menlo Park and is funded by the Charles and Helen Schwab Foundation. The library is open to the public on Mondays and Fridays, 7:30 a.m. through 5 p.m., and Tuesdays through Thursdays, 7:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. The office of education is located at 1290 Ridder Park Drive in San Jose, just off Highway 880.
