Under-12 Soccer

The Central Valley United Soccer League will hold tryouts for boys under-12 select and comp teams for the 1998 fall season.

Tryouts will be held on March 29, 11 a.m.-1 p.m., and April 5, 2-4 p.m., at John Muir Middle School, located on Branham Lane between Cherry and Almaden Expressway.

Devils soccer tryouts scheduled

The Central Valley UTD Devils under-13 boys' soccer team will hold tryouts for the 1998 season on March 29, 3-5:30 p.m., at Farnham School, Woodard Avenue off of either Bascom or Union. For more information, call coach Greg Pinelli at 267-0740 or 266-5899.

Crunch soccer tryouts scheduled

The Central Valley Crunch, an under-12 girls' select Class 1 soccer team, is looking for dedicated players (born after July 31, 1986) for the coming season. The team is trained by John Poch. For more information, call Tom or Marianne Chard at 298-4815.

Football Volunteers

The Los Gatos Pop Warner Football Association, which serves youngsters from Los Gatos, Saratoga, Campbell and Willow Glen, is looking for adult volunteers for the fall season.

The organization is looking for volunteers to fill the following positions: equipment manager, board secretary, cheerleading coach, scholastic coordinator and field support coordinator.

Girls' basketball camps scheduled

A series of girls' basketball camps will be held at Santa Clara University this summer with sessions running June 6 through July 31. For more information, call Shaunice Warr at 554-4567.

Willow Glen Colt

Phone registration is now being accepted for the 1998 Willow Glen Colt League season. The league is open to players ages 15-16. For more information, call 294-7109 or 526-1600.
