Willow Glen student named a National Merit finalist

Presentation High School senior Diane Menuz recently joined an elite group of U.S. graduating high school seniors when she was named a finalist in the National Merit Scholarship program.

Finalists make up less than 1 percent of graduating seniors and are eligible for scholarships from the National Merit Corporation, other corporations and colleges and universities, said Presentation spokes-person Stephanie Still.

Menuz, a Willow Glen resident, has already been accepted to several universities, including UC-Davis and UC-San Diego.
