Soccer Tryouts The Central Valley Crunch, an under-12 girls' select Class 1 soccer team, is looking for dedicated players (born after July 31, 1986) for the coming season. Spring Soccer Camp A Spring Soccer Camp for players ages 5-16 will be held April 13-17 at De Anza Community College in Cupertino. The camp runs from 9 a.m. to noon, and the cost for the five-day session is $95 per player. For more information, call 864-8745. World Title Fight IBF featherweight world champion Hector Lizarraga of San Jose will take on challenger Manuel Medina in the first ever world championship fight to be contested at the San Jose Arena. The Garden City Boxing Club card, set for April 24, will include three championship fights and will also feature WBU junior featherweight champion Carlos Navarro. Football Volunteers The Los Gatos Pop Warner Football Association, which serves youngsters from Los Gatos, Saratoga, Campbell and Willow Glen, is looking for adult volunteers for the fall season. The organization is looking for volunteers to fill the following positions: equipment manager, board secretary, cheerleading coach, scholastic coordinator and field support coordinator.
