    Phoenix rises again

People were shocked last month to hear that a man had 'disciplined' his dog by tying him to a car and dragging him. Fortunately, a good Samaritan stepped in and rescued the dog. Then local veterinarian Dr. Kyle Frandle, who has a well-deserved reputation as a good Samaritan himself, offered to care for Phoenix at his Los Gatos Dog & Cat Hospital. Above, veterinary technicians Cheri Johnson (left) and Katie Jacobs spend a little time playing with Phoenix. Frandle assumed all costs for the dog's care, and funds contributed to help with Phoenix's medical costs were sent to the Humane Society.
