The Willow Glen girls slipped to 3-2 in league competition after losing 105-79 to Piedmont.

Whitney Gregg and Courtney Livak each won individual events and helped the Rams to two relay wins in the meet.

Gregg took the 100-yard freestyle in 59.75 and Livak was a winner in the 100 breaststroke in 1:16.47.

Rams win against Oak Grove, lose to Valley Christian

Guy Beahm buried 28 kills in two matches, but the Willow Glen boys volleyball team could manage just a split in the Mt. Hamilton Division of the Blossom Valley Athletic League last week.

Beahm's 12 kills led the Rams to a 15-6, 15-10, 15-0 win over Oak Grove. With the victory, the Rams evened their league record at 2-2 and upped their season mark to 14-6.

But earlier in the week, the Rams dropped a 15-6, 15-13, 15-10 decision to first-place Valley Christian. Beahm had 16 kills in the loss.
