Central Valley United slating tryouts at Muir Middle School

The Central Valley United Soccer League has scheduled tryouts for the following divisions at John Muir Middle School, Branham Lane between Almaden Expressway and Cherry:

Girls under-11 Class III (competitive)--April 26, 2-4 p.m.; contact Bruce Ryon at 448-4452.

Girls under-10 Class III (competitive)--April 26, 2-4 p.m.; contact Jim Lienhart at 267-2513.

In other divisions, the Central Valley Lightning, an under-13 boys Class III (competitive) team, will hold tryouts in April. For information, call Des Knuckey at 559-2045 or Steve Nestle at 371-5365.

The Central Valley Crunch, an under-12 girls select class 1 team, is looking for dedicated players (born after July 31, 1986) for the coming season. The team is trained by John Poch. For more information, call Tom or Marianne Chard at 298-4815.
