Water polo club
The Willow Glen Water Polo Club is expanding.
The summer program is open to boys and girls ages 10-18, and practice will begin the week of May 22. The different divisions will hold practice sessions at different times, with most practices in the afternoons and evenings.
Willow Glen coach Scott Kaubish hopes to end the summer program with a trip to the Junior Olympics in Orange County in August.

Baseball tryouts
The San Jose Cobras Youth Baseball Club, a traveling team for players ages 12-and-under, is holding tryouts for the spring and summer seasons. Players must have all-star or tournament experience. For more information, call Brent Hatfield at 408.978.8183.
Youth volleyball
The United State Youth Volleyball League continues signups for the 2000 spring season.
The organization offers two local sites for the eight-week program: Los Gatos High School-- Wednesdays, 5:30-6:30 p.m., and Saturdays, 9-10 a.m., April 26-June 17; and Camden Park West-- Tuesdays, 5:30-6:30 p.m., and Saturdays, 9-10 a.m., April 25-June 17.
Boys and girls ages 8-14 are eligible, and the registration fee of $90 per child includes uniform top and equipment.

YMCA sports
The Central YMCA is offering a sports program for kids ages 3-6. The program, which runs for six weeks on Saturday mornings at the YMCA gym, includes basketball, floor hockey and soccer. For more information, call 408.298.1717, ext. 60.
Fencing classes
The Fencing Center will hold classes in foil, sabre and epee at its downtown San Jose location, 110 Stockton Ave. Equipment is provided, and classes are for those ages 9 and up. For more information, call 408.298.8230 or contact their Web site at www.fencing.com.
