Senior legislators speak throughout Santa Clara County The new members representing Santa Clara County in the California Senior Legislature, which proposes legislation to meet the needs of older Californians, will be speaking throughout the county during the month of May. They plan to talk about their role and responsibilities as senior legislators and answer questions from the audience. The new legislators are Robert O. Jaffe, George F. Miskulin and C.J. Thompson, all of San Jose; and James Wright of Morgan Hill. Speaking times and dates include engagements at 10 a.m. May 16 at Cypress Gardens at 3555 Judro Way in San Jose, 10 a.m. May 19 at the Campbell Community Center at 1 W. Sunnyvale program turns out Net-savvy South Bay seniors The Internet's not just for 14-year-olds anymore--people of all ages are jumping on the Web, including seniors. Free guided tours of the Internet are available for seniors every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 9 a.m. at the Digital Clubhouse at the Sunnyvale Town Center.
