Espresso Garden hosts blues and soul singer
Blues and soul singer Gwen Avery will perform on May 26, at 8 p.m. at the Espresso Garden and Cafe, 814 S. Bascom Ave, San Jose, to celebrate the release of her new CD, Sugar Mama. The show will include a finale with blues master and guitarist John Garcia, a local performer who has played with blues greats including B.B. King and Bo Diddley. Lecture at church focuses on 'unity'
