Free job fair May 28 at convention center
The city of San Jose's Office of Economic Development, the Silicon Valley Workforce Investment Network and the Employment Development Department are sponsoring a free job fair on May 28 at the San Jose McEnery Convention Center at 150 W. San Carlos St. More than 50 government agencies and business organizations will be on hand to meet with potential employees to discuss employment opportunities. iD Tech Camps hold weeklong programs
iD Tech Camps will provide weeklong, hands-on technology programs for kids again this summer. Northern California universities that will offer these camps include Stanford University, Santa Clara University, Notre Dame de Namur, St. Mary's of Moraga, UC-Berkeley and CSU-Monterey Bay. At these day and residential camps, students produce digital movies, create video games, design web pages, learn programming and robotics, and more.
