Traffic must improve around Lincoln Ave.

Read your story on our local speedway (a.k.a. Lincoln Ave.) with much interest. I applaud the Willow Glen Neighborhood Association's efforts to improve pedestrian safety and slow traffic. They should start with the Lincoln-Malone intersection, which has been the site of weekly accidents and at least one recent fatality. This crossroads-with its heavy Willow Glen Middle and High School traffic-cries out for lights with turn-only arrows. Without them, it's only a matter of time before the next serious accident.
