Youth Soccer
Registration will be held for the Willow Glen PAL youth soccer season on June 16, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at River Glen Park. The program is open to boys and girls ages 5-15. New players must provide proof of age and all players need to provide a small photo. The registration fee is $55 per player. For more information, call 408.265.2144.
Field Hockey Camp
A beginning field hockey camp for girls in grades 6-9 will be held June 26-28, 9 a.m.-noon each day, at Del Mar High School. The cost is $35 per player and equipment will be provided. For more information, call 408.264.2373.
South Bay League
The South Bay Youth Soccer League will hold signups for the fall season on June 16, 11 a.m.-2 p.m., at River Glen Park, corner of Pine and Bird avenues in Willow Glen.
The league fields teams in the under-6 to under-14 divisions for boys and girls, and the emphasis is on family fun and skill development. There are free coaching clinics and a season-ending tournament and picnic.

Signups set
Eighth grade girls who plan to attend Willow Glen in the fall and play on the field hockey team should contact head coach Peggy Booth for signup information.

Freestyle Program
Willow Glen will begin a freestyle wrestling program for those ages 6-18 interested in learning how to wrestle. The group meets Mondays and Wednesdays, 5-6:30 p.m., in the small gym at Willow Glen. For more information, call Willow Glen wrestling coach Phil Luna at 408.629.6881.
PAL Football
The Willow Glen Rams is currently holding signups for the fall 2001 youth tackle football season beginning. Willow Glen fields four teams in PAL play. For more information, call Chris Rohr at 408.723.3307.
Hoop-It-Up
A Hoop-It-Up 3-on-3 basketball tournament for boys and girls ages 8 and up will be held June 9-10 at Paramount's Great America. For more information on the tourney, call 916.852.8494.
