Joking masks fear of Alzheimer's

    Senior Notes

'Silver Pages' are a great reference

The Los Gatos Senior Consortium and the Los Gatos Community Foundation invite senior citizens to obtain a copy of the 2000 edition of the Los Gatos Silver Pages either online at the Los Gatos-Saratoga Department of Community Education and Recreation's website: www.lgsararec.org/silverpages.html, or by calling 408.354.1514 for pick-up hours and locations.

Not limited solely to Los Gatans, the purpose of the Silver Pages is to provide seniors with a Yellow Pages-like listing of the dozens of information and referral services, elder abuse assistance, food and nutrition programs, fitness and health classes, transportation services, adult day care providers and social and recreational opportunities available from organizations in the Los Gatos area, as well as in various locales in San Jose and the South Bay.
